2) Loosen the bolts only when fitting the shafts. DO NOT get rid of the bolts totally. If taken out they might fall into the housing and cause a failure. The box should be disassembled to retrieve 
the bolts if this happens.
1) Tighten bolts to avoid oil leaking in the course of operation. (The bolts have a seal beneath their heads.)
Just take care when tightening the 4 x locking bolts inside of the housing. These #imgurl[http://agricultural-gearbox.xyz/Content/upload/2019369030/201903071436443552533.png]#bolts repair the detachable splined shafts in location.
